Our standard is simple: independent, local, and accurate.
Big review apps mix the corner bakery in with every national chain. This directory lists only independent eateries owned and operated in Edmonton and area: restaurants, bakeries, cafés, dessert shops, food trucks, pubs and delis. Local businesses with a few locations, headquartered here, are welcome. Franchises and national chains aren't.
We start from public records such as City of Edmonton business licences, then a real person checks every listing before it goes live. Hours, phone numbers, menus and links come from the business's own website and official social accounts. If we can't confirm a detail, we leave it out instead of guessing. Descriptions are our own words, and every listing shows when it was last verified.
Edmonton Restaurants & Eatery Directory is built and run by J.A Web Design, a local web design studio. That relationship doesn't affect who gets listed or how they rank, and paying for a featured spot doesn't change our standards.
